Stanley is a 2016, 15.2hh QH gelding by Two Eyed Jack available for sale. Stanley has had a slow, but late, professional start and is currently going WTC/WJL and takes a rope. He has been started tracking and roping a dummy and spent last summer at our roping pen, getting exposed to work in the box as well as tracking & pushing live cattle. Has great cow sense and enjoys the job. Would be a great candidate to be a working ranch horse or is a well started breakaway/heel prospect.
Stanley enjoys trail riding, will physically tie anywhere endlessly, ground ties solidly, and has been exposed to ponying young stock. He is comfortable to ride, but would do best in a home where he is regularly put to work. Early on, he's been tested in some less than ideal situations with loose cattle and rank horses in his personal space and he has never let me down.
Recently, he has been shipped off the farm to jackpot ropings and has thrived in the busy environment and is proving to have what it takes to be finished as a rope horse. Stanley is sound, sane, vice free. Currently lives outside and requires no special care or maintenance. He's an excellent shipper and has perfect ground manners.
