With over 15 years of professional experience, Joanna Niles, has dedicated her life to the development of equestrians, their horses, and the sport.

 

As a junior, she successfully competed in the eventing, jumper, hunter, and equitation divisions before pursuing her degrees in Kinesiology and Athletic Therapy at York University.

 

Spending her post secondary education breaking and working with her own young stock, Joanna began exercise riding thoroughbred racehorses. The opportunity to bring horses through breaking, training, repurposing and eventually, marketing has built Joanna an extensive network of customers all over North America for the marketing and purchasing of general riding & sport horses of all types.

Joanna currently competes on Ontario's A circuit during the summer season and spends her winters training and competing in Ocala, Florida with a combination of client horses & her own personally developed stock. She is currently training with Renee Connors and Grace Wanyura, but has also received mentorship and training from a number of top professionals across disciplines & specialties, with the goal of  pursuing well rounded horsemanship.

 

Joanna is a certified and licensed Competition Coach. Specializing in the hunter/jumper/equitation rings, Joanna applies clear, concise, and reliable training methods to help riders reach their goals. Her students and developed horses earn  regular wins & podium finishes on at provincial championships.

 

With an eye for the physical and mental development of horse and rider, Joanna applies principles derived from classical dressage and quality strength, conditioning, and therapeutic programs to provide an all inclusive approach to sport that every athlete deserves.
