Dash is a 2012, 15.1hh, quarter horse available for on property lease. Safe and steady, Dash has miles of experience in the hunter ring. Comfortable to ride and suitable for juniors and adults alike, he is a simple, consistent partner who is fun to ride and spend time with. Shows, hacks, and has an auto change on course but will also counter canter and perform equitation style challenges with ease. Dash is a regular top 3 finisher up to the 2'9's even with inexperienced riders. He is experienced in the derby and can do all the high options/handy turns, always giving his rider a shot at the win. Dash is ready to step in any ring from cross rails to 2'9. Dash has qualified for and won at playoffs in large companies and with inexperienced riders for the past 4 seasons and counting!
In 2023, Dash made his first start at 3ft in the $10,000 Canadian Hunter Derby at 1060 Stables finishing in the money for 8th place.
This year, he helped his rider complete her first show season, helping her to qualify to Silver Playoffs in first place in the C Equitation division where she finished on the podium for Reserve Champion.
