Oakley is a 2013, appendix gelding standing at 15.3hh. Although green, Oakley is kind, even tempered, easy to care for and ride, and will make a fantastic project for an experienced person or a capable junior or amateur. He is a smooth and comfortable ride with well balanced gaits and is started on lead changes. He is currently flatting quietly at all paces and is started over fences in a professional program and is also ridden by his amateur owner and students of various levels. Oakley would be suitable for any discipline as his smooth and easy canter would make him a lovely hunter but his athleticism and keen attitude would also make him an apt jumper or event prospect. He is too small for his current owner who is 5’11 with long legs and is regrettably available for sale or lease. Oakley has been in the EquiSTRONG training program for 90 days and is verified safe, simple, and a ton of fun to work with. This smart gelding learns quickly and aims to please. He’ll easily be ready to show in the 2020 season.
