Nellie is a 8 year old, 16.1hh, unraced thoroughbred mare available for sale. Nellie had a late start but has been slowly and thoroughly started on the flat WTC and over jumps. She has big, smooth, easy to sit gaits and a willing attitude towards her work. She is still green and can be a little unsure so would best suit an experienced rider who has the confidence to tell her what she's doing. That being said, she is very kind to work with and tries hard to do what is being asked- just isn't ready to fill in the blanks for a green rider yet.
Nellie is easy to handle on the ground and work with. She doesn't require any special care and prefers to live outside. She loves being groomed and spending time with people. She would make a great prospect for any english discipline. She is very willing to do a jumping job but also has lovely movement, with big range of motion through her shoulders and pelvis. Her full sister was a lovely dressage horse and Nellie would make a very affordable prospect for that discipline.
