Frosted Forest

Frosted Forest, aka Danu, is a 16.2hh, 13 year old thoroughbred mare. This mare has a sweet personality and a big jump! Danu is well developed on the flat with lateral work, counter canter, lead changes and has been most recently competing up to 2'6 at the Silver level with a junior. She's athletic and jumps with good form, while still being gentle in her gaits making her an ideal mount for a novice/intermediate rider. Danu is suitable for 2'9 and under. She has prior experience as an eventer, but prefers her slower, hunter pace now. Danu is regularly used for beginner/novice lessons and is an patient teacher.

In 2022, Danu competed with a junior in the East Zone for the Silver Series and was a regular division contender, qualifying for playoffs.

Danu ties, trailers, bathes, clips, hacks, and is generally a lovely horse to work with. She adores attention, grooming, loves to work and is the same off property as on. Danu currently lives indoors with front shoes, but is otherwise easy to keep with little, standard show horse maintenance and is sound, sane, and vice free. She is a sweet, reliable partner, looking for her next rider to compete with and enjoy!
