Duke is a 15.1hh, 8 year old, appendix type gelding available for sale. Duke is green broke and going WTC, started over fences and has been started on the change, which has proven easy for him. Duke is more woah than go and will make up into a lovely hunter prospect. He is brave to the jumps without getting quick or hot with a stride that will make the lines easily. He is naturally balanced and quite unflappable to his environment with no spook. He is a smooth ride, easy to sit to with a low & soft natural head carriage and nice in-gait suspension giving him a low level equitation/hack future. Duke tackles challenges such as walking over tarps, sacking out with ropes, pads, and other items, riding in traffic, trail riding, running dogs, loud noises, and other distractions with confidence and quietness.

Duke was purchased as a school horse and has proven too green for full time use with beginner/novice riders and as such, an experienced rider & home is sought after to continue his training. With time, Duke is the right type for a low level hunter or all around horse.

He is sound, vice-free, & easy to keep- living in or out, eating little to no grain, currently barefoot, and requires no special maintenance or care.
